Workshops are back on in my studio st St Austell College in Cornwall, and at Stable Arts near Bodmin: it's been lovely to make together again!

I'll book in date son here, but just let me know if you have a group of 6 or more people and you'd like to book your own date.

£5 from each workshop payment is paid forward to my School of Make to provide free craft workshops for local teenagers.

I offer vouchers that I can send to you in a nice card by local artists if you'd like to buy a workshop for somebody as a present.

FEBRUARY

Saturday 5th: Make your own eco-silver stacker rings at my sea-view studio in St Austell. You should get 3 rings made in the morning workshop: you'll have a go at soldering, hammering, cutting, texturing and stamping and polishing your own eco-silver rings. Workshop costs £47 including all tools, materials and tea/ coffee and cake. Sunday 13th: make a riveted oak eco-silver ring at Hall for Cornwall Make a piece of jewellery you can wear everyday that connects you directly to the structure of the historic building: the offcuts of oak used in this workshop is the same wood used in the theatre’s  auditorium.  Learn soldering, filing, and finishing techniques to make the eco-silver (recycled silver) base; then use riveting cold connections techniques to attach your chosen oak piece £35 including coffee/tea

 

MARCH

Wednesday 2nd: make your own eco-silver and/or brass earrings: join me in my sea-view studio and learn how to make your own silver and brass drop earrings. You should get a pair of silver or brass earrings cut out and finished in the morning workshop. You'll have a go at cutting out sheet silver or brass, texturing it and soldering silver to make really unique earrings for yourself or a special gift for someone. Workshop costs £45 including all tools, materials and tea/ coffee and cake. APRIL

Saturday 9th: make your own eco-silver or brass bangle: join me in my sea-view studio in St Austell and learn how to make your own eco-silver 2mm bangle! You should get a silver or brass bangle made with a charm on it in the morning workshop. You'll have a go at soldering, hammering, cutting, texturing and stamping and polishing your own silver bangle. Wednesday 13th make your own eco-silver and/or brass handmade chain join me in my sea-view studio and learn how to make your own silver chain! You should get the front part of a chain necklace or chain bracelet made in the morning workshop. You'll have a go at soldering, hammering, cutting, texturing and stamping and polishing your own silver chain. Workshop costs £47 including all tools, materials and tea/ coffee and cake. Saturday 30th: make an eco-silver set sea-glass ring or pendant: join me in my St Austell studio: make your favourite beach find into a lovely statement ring to keep. From 10am to 3pm, you'll learn how to make a bespoke silver rub-over setting for your sea-glass to be set into. It'd be useful if you've had some soldering experience before, or maybe been on one of mine or Suzanne Barr's silver workshops.
