statement beach plastic collage necklace

A true statement necklace made from recycled materials found on the Cornish coastline combined with a hammered brass pebble, re-purposed vintage wooden beads, volcanic rock beads and fair trade recycled bottle beads from Ghana. The main sea-plastic piece at the front is part of an old buoy, found at Watergate Bay near Newquay; the crystal set in eco-silver was found in a stream near Plymouth. The sturdy hook clasp is made from hammered eco-silver. This is a striking piece that's certainly a talking point and a wearable collage.

If you have your own beach finds that you'd like made into a necklace, please just message me: I love making them! And it's great if the found materials used have a relevance to the wearer.

*10% of profits from this piece will be donated to Surfers against Sewage to help with their work cleaning up our seas and waterways*

All my jewellery is gift-wrapped in tissue or recycled card giftboxes.

What is ecosilver?

Eco-silver is a green alternative to sterling silver. It is a little bit more expensive but has the same silver content as sterling, it's just made of 100% recycled and scrap silver products. Eco Silver can be both treated and worked with in the same way as silver, for the same quality results but more environmentally friendly. Produced from scrap jewellery, medical equipment, electronics and giftware, all the eco silver I use comes with a certificate of authenticity and is hallmarked if it is the required weight.

Please feel free to message me if you'd like to check anything or request a different metal.
