The Woodsprite

a4 | hardcover | illustrated
A folktale set in St Austell, for children and adults to read together.

It's a collaboration with local artist Holly Andrews: she's illustrated it with beautiful Japanese ink paintings in a dreamy, anime style. As it's a large A4 hardcover book, it can be kept and read again and again...

It's available to pre-order here and we're hoping to have copies to send out in time for Christmas

"Scarlet is a woodsprite who lives in Cornwall. She's got loads of energy, is good at arguing and loves her two dogs. She embarks on a journey to save her woodland from being wrecked and burnt by Gwragh the witch, who has enslaved the animals and folk people to amass a great wealth for herself, ruining the woodland environment along the way.

Scarlet is very brave and clever, but needs to work with lots of other creatures so that together they can defeat the witch, free the folk people and animals, and allow the woodland to heal again..."
